Nah Xavi cant stand Laporta and he is speaking out as his time at club was going to be on agenda for these debates.

This is not some simple Xavi controlled by Font.

Xavi isnt helping himself with way spoke and the pity party.
Xavi wasn't going to be a part of the debates, unless he had opened his mouth. Even the official support he signed for Font 10 days ago was not enough.

Xavi exposed?

🗣️ President Laporta: "It was Jorge Messi who came to my house and told me that they were going to Miami to live a calm life with less pressure."

🗣️ Javier Tebas (La Liga president): "It was not true that La Liga had given the green light to sign Leo Messi."

🗣️ Jaume Roures (Mediapro CEO): "Xavi is not saying the truth. La Liga had not authorized nor given the green light to sign Messi. This is about the electoral campaign. He's going with Victor Font and does not want Laporta to win."

🗣️Leo Messi in 2023: "I wanted to take my own decision. This is why I did not sign for Barcelona. I heard that they had to sell players and or reduce salaries to sign me. I didn't want to be responsible for that."

🗣️ Xavi himself in 2023: "It has not been an easy decision for Messi. It was actually Jorge Messi who called the club and said Leo won’t come to the club."

From the reports Xavi wanted Zubimendi.. and wanted to sell Pedri to make it happen.

While wanting to renew Roberto and get in Gundogan.

Little fucker had lost the plot.

"He wanted to get rid of Raphinha and Lewa, they leaked some really ugly stuff about Pedri that painted him in a bad light (yeah, from the best in the world alongside Lamine).

He wanted to leave, then stay, and then he bailed on the squad (with which Flick has absolutely crushed it).

He talks about something with Messi that was never even settled.

Unacceptable"

I remember seeing the old rumors with Pedri.

Xavi clearly wanted a Busi successor. I think his idea was getting Zubi and using him as a DLP pivot.

I think it was obvious Xavi didn't see or totally misprofiled Pedri that in his eyes if needed he is expendable.

Good thing we didn't sell him. It was pretty obvious Pedri was much better when he had the ball a lot more and not being shoved so far forward.
