Excellent performance, some very nice finishing this game. Took all his 3 goals very very well. Build on this please and more of the same.

First and 3rd goals are very indicative of the player he can become if he combines his on the ball ability with effective runs off the ball and trust his teammates for the pass. Simple effective runs, picked up by good passes, then focus on putting the ball in the corner. Will work well every single time.

It is very important for him to become a complete forward.

Opponents will have a tremendous hard time blocking him if he develops this side of his game. This would allow him to function as both a winger-playmaker, but also as a wide forward. He has all the tools to be that complete player, just like prime Neymar was. But for this to function well, he needs to let go of some self gratifying aspects of his game. And this is going to be difficult, because talented players and dribblers especially are in love with the ball, they want to touch it all the time, as often as possible. This can easily become a flaw if you're not an all time great in this area.

Lamine is far better off with widening the ways in which he can hurt teams. He has a wide array of skills, scoring goals is something he can be very very good at. Despite our problems, we have several players who can play defense splitting passes. He can receive good service himself if he asks for it smartly, and then focus on providing finishing touch with well taken goals.

Opponents are not used yet to seeing a Lamine Yamal who is a big threat off the ball. And they should be. Not seeing the ball is also a weapon that quality players use all the time to test to opponent's defensive line and exploit positioning errors.

Rubbish and lies. Who is this "Neal"?

Leo Messi played as winger in 08/09 with Eto'o CF.

Messi scored 38 goals that season.

Pretty sure Ronaldo should be on that list too as he played as winger for decades.

Comedy of a tweet.
It doesn't say "ALL" of the best wingers in history

It says "SOME" of the best wingers in history

It would still be pretty insane if at 18 y/o his best goalscoring season is already more than likes of Dinho, Bale, Hazard, Robben etc

This Villareal was 4th in La Liga as of yesterday. That's not some random team and I thought Lamine was quite economical in the first half.

He's already elite of a player at 18. Not Bardghzhgfhkji or Trincao, where you scratch your head is this guy good against Cordoba.

Rubbish, as I said. Guy spouts a tweet every 30 minutes so no wonder.

From quickest and top of my head random other players: Rivaldo 28, 29 goals in 97/98, 98/99.
Don't you see that doesn't disprove his tweet at all. It doesn't say Dinho is the winger with most goals in season ever at 26. Just lists him as one of the wingers Lamine could overtake by end of this season

Pedro, the water-carrier, scored 23 goals in 08/09. 22 in other season too.

Absolute rubbish of a post or useless vague-posting at best.

Wonder how many are there. Probably dozen. If I could name 2 from Barca only.
