Good option but can't see us spending big money on a LB when we have bigger holes elsewhere. We will probably sign Cancelo if he's willing to let go of the Saudi wages (which he already did for half a season so it's possible).

Dimarco is not good enough and is barely a left back.
Decent wingers with movement destroy him.
Look at semi final of CL last season v Yamal or v PSG in final where he was about as poor as could be.

I'd rather keep Cancelo than sign Dimarco... but preferably would do neither
Both players who can do A LOT in final third but if you ask them to defend.. you are cooked. Will get destroyed by any slightly serious winger out there

It's BS, but if we cannot sign someone like Osimhen I'd rather try to work out a loan for Marmoush than sign Vlahovic on a free transfer or get Alvarez for 120m.
Marmoush is not the right profile either, but he's rapid and if you can get him in loan he's not a bad option. Much rather that than get stuck with Vlahovic.
And then dip into the CF market once again in 2027 in hope of better luck......

No flaw in that logic TBH, I wouldn't be completely against vlahovic on a free to be honest.
But I like your approach more.
Osimhen has been my dream for years, but it doesn't seem the club has ever really thought of him as a solution.

This was always going to be the issue with spending so much on Lewa in his mid 30s.
Gets to points he leaves for free and cant renew or sell him as could if had signed a younger player.
When Barca signed Lewa could still sign players on 6 year contracts.
Could have spent around 120m on striker and pay them 17m odd for the amount spent on him.
Barca easily could have signed Osihmen in 2022 for less than paying on Lewa and had player could renew and reduce FFP before now.
Or even keep Auba sign likes of Thuram and spend money elsewhere in team.
Or.. keep the player who has won a balondor at CF since left the club.
