Same Lewa who those players dont ever add to the captains list.

Same Lew who Xavi wanted to punt due to his attitude around young players.. only changed when he realised he wasnt top dog and self preservation was to act like a teenager with Yamal etc.

Same Lew who those young players won without for Spain.

Same young players who last year had a better win % and scored more with him Lewa in team on way to treble.

Of course Laporta will try to justify wasting so much money on a player he gets nothing back for and has worse goals rate in La Liga than likes of Sorloth since signed in far better team.

Prime RL9 was the most complete striker.

Zero weaknesses in his game. Can get in behind, can function as a targetman, can play with the ball to his feet, can drop deep and link up with teammates.

There are some "complete" strikers who can't even head a ball properly.

This is what a complete striker actually looks like. 👇🏻

Singlehandedly bullying the best team in the world at the time.

Easily holding up random aerial balls against 2 strong, fast CBs.

Easily dribbling past and outpacing legendary Full Backs drifting off to the flanks.

Making the GOAT keeper look like a mug.

Battling against midfielders, dropping deep and comfortably retaining the ball in tight spaces under pressure. They just couldn't get the ball off him.

Your favourite striker can only dream of doing all of this at the same time displaying such a wide array of attributes physically and technically against the best team in the world.

He has done a lot for us but he has to go, it is not worth it paying these exorbitant wages on him anymore and I have to say even the goals he scores cover the constant stinkers he has. Now I have nothing against the guy I just see that the club can do way better than Ferran and Lewandowski right now.

Yo time has come, should say good bye after this season. 3 lls in 4 years is an amazing achievement and he became way more likeable for me and way more famous for many fans around the world with the Barca stint.

Lewy:

“Pedri is an extraordinary player. He has enormous potential, is technically fantastic, and the way he moves the ball and sees the game is impressive, especially for a striker,” he told Pilka Nozna.
“Playing with him in behind is simply easier. On the other hand, I’ve been fortunate to play with many outstanding midfielders, world champions, and top players.

“Each one brought something different to the table. Pedri is unique in his own way and perfectly suits Barcelona’s style.”

Lewandowski also spoke about Lamine Yamal and whether he feels the teenager’s suffered a slump in form this season.

“We may be halfway through the season, but it’s really just beginning for us. And expectations for Lamine are rising. I constantly remind him to take things easy, do his
thing, develop, and continue learning,” he added.

“Fluctuations in form are completely natural for such a young player. And with him, even when he’s having a bad day, he still brings a lot of positive energy to the team and makes a difference.”
