From what I've read, and things could be lost in translation, that this is what Alvarez wants and it seems both him and the club have an understanding.
But the 70M figure is suggestion from Balassone himself, that Barca will need to negotiate with Atletico and it would take around that figure.

Far from as good as done, more like we have terms with the player.

And Achraf Ben Ayad just underscored that agreement between Barça and player is crucial up front. I too find the 70M suspect, especially when it comes to Atletico or Alemany

But Balassone is not a rumor guy

Its a good time to barter a bigger contract or interest.

Alvarez sources can just tie the rumours to a presidential candidate.
