Apparently it is expected that ot will take around 1.5 to 2 months for his paperwork to be finalised and then be able to play.

Most likely Patricio will be the same, as it us the case for most players out of EU

It is no coincidence that both players were bought in the same positions of other transfers.

They aren't there for immediate help of the B team, rather for a trial period to see what they have. Just seeing them on daily basis on training ground against other top prospects, and maybe even a couple of times with first team players, Barca will know more about hos good they actually are, about their character etc.

It is disappointing for fans, though.

I'm guessing over Easter that one or both of these cooooould get an U19 run out in one of the unofficial youth tournaments or friendlies, but otherwise yeah, all the work will be in training. For all we know the Egyptian lad may even be p2p ( Khaled is going to lambast me for suggesting that  ).

Seems Onstein will be the one who was planned to feature this season then. I think Pacifico has Italian passport btw but is currently out injured.

EDIT
Pacifico is registered already with the B team.

And Onstein is registered with the Juvenil u19.

I've no idea what is P2P :ROFLMAO:

I forgot that Pacifico has Italian citizenship, that explains it.

Pay to play.

Probably wouldn't happen at the B level with Barca to be fair. But seen it with South east Asian talents in Europe back in my day.

The thai Dangda at Atleti was probably the most "high" profile one I know about.
