Tbh nobody really had any chemistry with anyone in the first half. Oveido played some anti-football and we couldn't string 2 passes together.
It was first when Cancelo was subbed Oviedo made some mistakes we capitalized on - which opened up the match. But overall Cancelo did well

He was better than Kounde... jesus fuck Koundes passing when Barca breaking late was abysmal and got down his side far too easily.
Canelo was too engrossed in combining with Yamal and was on verge of red. Not a good game.

Few smart link up plays with Yamal but then a stupid yellow card early in the game which complicated things.
Probably no surprise to anyone that he is nothing sort of amazing but then again you can't really expect an immediate impact by someone who only just arrived to the club and then having a new system to learn.
At least with him we can give Balde and Kounde some rest, that's probably the biggest thing with his signing.

Kounde wasn't focused in this Copa game coming off the bench. I'll give him a pass.
Meanwhile Cancelo was playing on the edge, like this is CL 1/2 final against Real Madrid. Ninja tackles, crashing into opponents in a low intensity game. The second booking not happening was a miracle.
In conclusion - we're better off with Kounde as starter, they have a built chemistry with Lamine. Cancelo is pushing too hard to claim a spot for the World Cup Portugal call-up and potentially secure exit transfer from Saudi Arabia.
