@TemporaryFan you follow polish league? this is actually insane. 11 points between first and last, 13th team has best offense, 1st and 13th have same number of wins, last team (Legia btw, one of the few polish clubs I know and apparently the biggest, also Lewa's boyhood club) has 4th best defense
I'm truly surprised by the position of Legia. Their problems in recent years seems to stem from the club ownership selling the good players for cash.

But when you look at the standings, 11 points seperate no.1 from no.18. What's going on? Wisla Plock with 5 consecutive draws sits at top of the league. What's going on?

I do on the account of Pogoń Szczecin which is where I am from.
The polish league is very volatile and it would not come as a surprise to see a club that wins the championship one year just to struggle from relegation the next.
That's because of little interests in allocating long term capital in the clubs and then the clubs having to put up with a high turn around of players who often see the league as the lunchpad to more lucrative ones in Europe or elsewhere.
Legia is another story. It is poorly managed by an eccentric owner with lots of money.
