There are some positive rumors that the club finally started to talk with Grada d’Animació about returning, fingers crossed!
I think the elections affects the return. It will either be heavily controlled by the club (as to not get any negative against Laporta) or it will be delayed until after elections.

I know the elections are the reason but I don't care as long as fans return to the stadium. Maybe they also finally figured out that the idea about creating a new fan group out of thin air is retarded and not possible.

Grada coming back is great, but only if they are going to be added to the new section. If they are going to go back to as was in the old Camp Nou, then it's an absolute disaster as it shows there wasn't enough demand amongst members to create a new Grada.

That, adding to the fact that Grada Animacion are about as piss poor a singing section as you will find in the whole of Europe. They don't even have 600 members and most of them don't even turn up to half the games. They can't even fill out the lower section of Gol Nord, even for UCL semi finals, and have to drape Barca flags over remaining empty seats.

Also, they are about as unintimidating a group as you will find. Rarely swearing at opposing players or booing them and it's rare for them to make insulting chants about the opposition. Even the obligatory " Puta ( opposition team name ) " chant is hard for them to muster.

I actually like the 18 - 30 year old idea, which has been implemented successfully across most smaller La Liga sides. Of course , the idea to prioritise women is downright pathetic and preferably the whole section will be male.

I can't fathom a modern fan much less cule undermining some gender equality among the animation stands - has anyone been to a Barça match or seen Femeni of late? This is a family atmosphere, if you are looking for hooliganism you are at the wrong club

So if you're not a supporter of LBGT mania you are a hooligan?

Anyway, it looks like the retarded idea failed just as I said it would from the first time they mentioned it.

The only sexism being displayed here is by Elena Fort saying that the new Grada is going to PRIORITISE WOMEN. Prioritising any sex, is inherently sexist.

I know it's normal now that anyone who pushes back on sexism against men to immediately be labelled as a caveman, misogynist, or the best one ... incel ! in order for the favouritism towards women to remain unchallenged.

Camp Nou is full of many female fans but fairweather Barca residents who go to home games with a camera looking for Instagram pictures are not the barometer for what a passionate, loyal, diehard Barca fan should be.

Have a look at the Barca fans who travel hundreds of miles away to go and support the team and you are more likely to find an off licence in Saudi Arabia than a woman amongst them.

If there are any groups that should be prioritised, it should be them loyal away fans and they are almost all exclusively men ( for every fanbase on earth, not just ours ), which makes the prioritising of women even more egregious.

Prioritize implies that previously this has never been the case and in a modern world, the minimum is to ensure equality. Our fanbase is not simply men, people need to get over that sexism

Female socios make up nearly 30% of all socios (the highest of any of the biggest clubs in Europe) and a significant portion of the senat

In the Camp Nou live-stream you can see, that approx. 60-70% of the third stand is finished. Half of gol sur, half of tribuna and a bit of gol norte remain. Should be done by the end of February/beginning of March I think.
Yep, projected by end of February indeed
