First time since I follow Barca that we have the coach and tactics spot on but are let down by not good enough personnel. Lamine isn't a finisher (though he scored today and that offside was bullshit) and Torres isn't Barca quality. So who are we relying on to score once Raphinha is injured? Olmo and Fermin, 2 midfielders? What was the xG here? 5:1? If this wasn't the biggest gap of xG vs. actual result out of any game in any league this season I'd be shocked.
This team needs an Eto'o, Villa, Suarez, younger Lewandowski level striker badly. Maybe moreso than a defender. Defense can be somewhat compensated via workrate and collective pressing. Finishing chances requires actual quality.

I don't understand this line at all, because the penalty area line is clearly at an angle, while the VAR line is straight. Shouldn't they be parallel?

We have no control of the ball.
None of our midfielders are creators and controllers like Xavi.
And none of them are really able to dribble past 2 players like Iniesta.
Pretty much all of them are finishers.
Nor do we have a controlling DM.
Couple that with totally shit defence theres SO much that needs to change.

When we are outside they tried to disallow us the lead as long as they can. If the score is 2.1 they will try to avoid the draw. We knew in advance that they are going to find a way. Referee plus us giving goals is the perfect cocktail to lose.
