He, as everyone, and anything else, will be judged in May.
I think we can, but Lamine needs to be in the center, not Rapha, because Rapha's passing isn't good enough to have a good output. Rapha is a worker and a scorer, but creativity in the last pass and tight ball control is more important in that position. We can't play him, Raphinha and Yamal together. Both Rashford and Raphinha benefit from having a proper CAM.
That means two of our best players move just to accomodate Rashford. Would rather bet on Fermin or Olmo at CAM and only play Rashford when the others rest.I think we can, but Lamine needs to be in the center, not Rapha, because Rapha's passing isn't good enough to have a good output. Rashford - Lamine - Raphinha isn't ideal either, but should work better. Rapha can play on the #10, when the opponent is more open and we have more counter-attacks. Against organized defensive lines, he's lost on that position.
Obviously Olmo or Fermin are better on the #10. I said it's not ideal but if Flick doesn't have a choice, I'd put them this way rather than Rapha in the mid. RW is Rapha's origin position anyways, no?That means two of our best players move just to accomodate Rashford. Would rather bet on Fermin or Olmo at CAM and only play Rashford when the others rest.
Just needed to tell myself from 8 years ago that I was right. He never had itI honestly don't see the hype every time i see him. Better than his age, sure .. Useful, that too .. Potential starter for a good team, yes .. But until now he didn't show that trademark touch that all world class attakcers have. Other than explosiveness and good mouvements of course. Affaire à suivre
It's crazy how some overrate Rashford because they only look at stats. Imagine changing positions of our best players so that bum can play like he did yesterday.
I'm sure Flick will stop with this nonsense now that he has Fermin and Olmo back.
