He will not be a target for us simply due to the price. There will be many top teams interested to pay 70 or 80m for him and we won't have the extra budget to make this kind of move.
Although, the fact he can fill in at fullback as well as start at CB is a huge plus for us given our problems at both positions, it would be very nice to have a player who is elite in both positions.
Great athlete as well and underrated in the attacking phases.

Much more likely he goes to Madrid, conaidering their CB situation sucks (Huijsen is clearly not the solution they wanted)

There's been some whispers about Bastoni being Deco's preferred choice while Flick wants Schlotterbeck.
Both excellent LCBs.
I suppose Bastoni you could argue is more established in CL and National team level while Schlotterbeck is the quicker CB and more used to defending in a kamikaze setup with a lot of space to cover.
Would personally prefer Schlotterbeck for that reason, but I won't complain if we get Bastoni.
Just get a quality CB + a free transfer CB.

Rumours are always there and whether the player has definitively ruled an exit out is less clear despite recent press comments. One thing is fairly probable, liking social media posts on coming to Barça won’t diminish those rumours until summer
My gut is that he is attainable as Oaktree runs Inter like they do all of their debt ridden entities, risk based - sporting ambition is not part of the equation until they are financially healthy. So, if player wants it and price is right then he is a very probable signing
