It won't, you can bet on it. The double ad board will be far more lucrative than these additional rows for viewers. My only hope is, that when the third tier will be finished and the main camera will be higher up on it's former place, they will push the second ad board more to the pitch, closer to the first because of the higher camera angle and that allows maybe 1-2 additional rows of viewers, so it will look better overall.
Now with a lower camera angle, they need to put them further back to get the "tall board" illusion.

I have no doubt there is some financial basis for the move just as I am aware that rectifying it would be virtually improbable from a construction standpoint but it is nevertheless a disastrous decision IMHO
I too wondered whether they can course correct by pushing it out as you proposed but I wonder if this is even feasible any longer - let’s see, let’s hope
Else, it is lopsided and the views from the lateral section were my among my favorite in old Camp Nou

Definitely, club wouldn't have gotten them otherwise. When it comes to money and penny pinching you can bet rhe club finds the most lucrative solution.

Smartness has nothing to do with it.
They don't depend on money as we and other normal clubs do. They don't participate in the open transfer market, as they limited themselves to only develop or buy basque players. Meaning if they get money, they don't have many opportunities to spend it anyways aside giving out big contracts to the likes of Nico. That's the reason you can never negotiate with them for a player. If you want their player, you either pay the release clause or move on.
They have a special status, so we can't compare ourselves with their decisions in terms of money. We on the other hand participate in the open market, want to have the best players and compete with the best teams. That means we have to run after every Euro to maintain a competitive squad, especially in the current financial situation.
And all of this also doesn't guarantee, that they won't do it at some point as well.
It's not necessarily the case that the double advertising boards were the club's absolute priority. It's also possible that two clueless individuals met, seeing the advantages of increased revenue but unaware of the disastrous drawbacks for spectator proximity and the stand design. The beauty of a stadium is determined by the pitch and the stands. Since the lower tier was newly built, it's a real shame. Incidentally, it wouldn't be a problem to replace the second advertising board with seating again.
You can also make a round stadium gradually straighten towards the edge of the pitch, as shown in this drawing of mine. Since the lower tier was newly built, this would have been possible. It's a real pity. In my opinion, the lower tier didn't turn out well.

- The middle tier was simply renovated and is as beautiful as ever.
- The lower tier was completely rebuilt and is a disaster.

The most stupid and hideous thing right now at CN for me it's building a sector for fans while not allowing them to enter. I won't go into that again but why did they close that sector completely and cover it with those flags (or how you call it?)? Why don't they let regular folks sit there so we can actually have the full capacity that we could right now? It also looks horrible and there is no need for it.
