That was Lewandowski's corpse, not the Lewandowski we consider one of the great strikers in football history

Although Chelsea CBs are wank their job really wasn't that complex

I watched the interview between the author of the newly released book "Lewandowski, True Face" (my own translation), Sebastian Staszewski and Bogdan Rymanowski - a popular TV publicist. I think, you mentioned Staszewski name earlier, asking, if Lewandowski took part in ousting Ancelotti from Bayern or, for that matter, Xavi in this club. I was very skeptical until I saw the interview, where the author's overall demeanor appeared instilling confidence and he himself quite credible. So...There could be some truth to it, of course always within a context. Especially, that his interviewer Rymanowski is a stand up guy who would not invite a cheap shot reporter looking for publicity.
With his book, he wanted to reveal the human side of Lewandowski, rather than analyze him as a footballer, and apparently, he spoke with a myriad of people from his past and present surroundings. Some of them were renowned figures like Thomas Muller, Joachim Low, Laporta. Looks like RL9 is a guy who does not care much about conventions or proprieties and he gets what he wants.
For instance, Xavi, before he was fired, he brought to Laporta a list of players he did not want any more in the squad. Lewandowski was there, on that list...Guess what? Xavi lost his job, Lewa stayed on. Supposedly, there's plenty of stuff like that.

I may order the book to entertain myself.

Told you people.

Lewy is a very nice guy but extremely ruthless and demanding about his pursuit of success. He's a complete professional who very rarely operates on emotions and friendships. He's extremely clever and shrewd unlike normal Footballers.

It is know why Xavi got the dunt already.

Lewa didnt call the shots there.. just happened to be on the list Xavi didnt want after telling Laporta happy with squad.

Had zero service throughout the game.

Barcelona can't even put in a single good cross anywhere in his path.

It doesn't matter who you put upfront, Haaland is not scoring goals under this system either.

I still think Barca can get their shit together, hopefully sooner rather than later

Likes of Haaland would be infinitely more useful v teams that press high up park like that.

Lewa offers nothing unless can get ball in box.

No top team wants 9s that cant run or hold up ball and only come alive in box.

Haaland would not? Yamal and co would love a player like Haaland. He is constantly constantly getting in behind and can ping balls to him non stop, where at least, if he can't score, he is able to hold the ball up for his teammates.

Haaland would score 40+ goals in a season here.
