Araujo doesnt have a top level to try and play him in into.

Cubarsi seems absolutely shot physically right now though. I don't know how long it will take to salvage that.

Christensen being fit would sort alot of issues. I can see him allowing Eric into the pivot as you say, or even pivoting himself.

Christensen been fit until a week ago, don't think he'll get a more prominent role fit or not, as it isn't in the plans to extend his contract.

Agree. I don't see Araujo reaching a much higher level in this setup. Him and Kounde are awful in buildup jeez

He's our best defender. Can't believe it. Not a dig at Eric, as I am a fan but, in reality, it tells you how much our quality at the back deteriorated.

Im seriously impressed by how he improved physically. He used to be sooooooo weak in 1vs1...he is our best def right now for sure. There is lot of rumours in Paris about Luis Enrique wanting to sign him.

Our best RB and CB, if we returned to single pivot he would be our best DM too.
