Max is back. Piastri looks broken at this point. If Max wins WDC that will be a legendary comeback.

It'll be legendary and it looks more and more likely. Max is getting closer and the shitshow that Mclaren did with papaya rules totally ruined their season. I would be surprised if Max doesn't win it in the end at this point.

Never thought I'd rate someone above Schumacher in my lifetime but we are not far from it, Max is gonna retire as the GOAT.

I still think one of the papayas will take it in the end, Norris has more experience so my bet is on him.
But god damn, Max is the GOAT!

If Verstappen wins it then you need to put him in the GOAT conversation even if he has less championships.

I'm actually rooting for it to happen now just to see the meltdown. Now for the first time McLaren as a whole are under a lot of pressure. Maybe they'll end up making more mistakes too.

A lot of the credit would go to Zak Brown and Stella too. Max' title wouldn't be possible without their retarded papaya rules that changed the season.

Another pole position from Max this weekend and they'll fumble - shame Tsunoda can't help...

IMO all improvement goes to Max's car by now. Tsunoda is just another victim of Verstappen's dominance. And I never considered him to be a great driver. He's a leftover from the Honda contract that will be tossed away next season. Red Bull move to Ford engines next year.

As far as reports go Red Bull car is built for Verstappen's style of driving and for his liking as much as it's quite obvious any other teammate he has would struggle as already seen.

Verstappen has been shitting on the car publicly over the last 6 months as well.
But he's so fucking good he can make that work. It's just a very unstable car that's tough to control. Kind of like taming a wild horse. One bad move and you'll end up in the dirt.

Verstappen is the best out there and we've known it for years.

Sacking Horny and promoting Mekies was a gamble, but it's paying off. The constructors race is lost, but Max is still in the race. McLaren had a huge advantage with the tire cooling at the start, but that's the beauty of modern F1 - teams develop tech and catch up.

Also I'm impressed by the performance of Carlos Sainz in Williams this season. This car is not supposed to be in P6 or beyond, whether he finishes races or not. He's regularly somewhere there in races.

4 cars crashed at the same spot at the rainy Interlagos sprint. Gabriel Bortoleto's one was especially destructive. If that was a pre-2016 F1 car, it could have been a fatal one. Reminded me of Roland Ratzenberger's fatal crash, when ran into the wall at top speed.

Piastri's crash extended Lando's lead and I believe the ambitions ended right there. Not in the top 3 since Dutch GP. It's between Lando and Max now.

It's done, Lando will be champion (worst champion ever?).

The RB car just wasn't good/consistent enough. If Max had the Mclaren rocket the season would end in June.
