RB and the new Nuno Mendes please gods of La Masia.

Or get him in gym at CF.

Still think he lacks on final ball at times but that pure pace and desire to go 1v1 can go a long way.

Imagine Lamine cutting inside and this absolute athlete bombing on.

The world would shudder.

Five goals contribution in 500 minutes. With Lamine and Roony he might struggle to get his breakthrough. I hope he will have more patience than Virgili

Patience woudl not have been good for Virgili.

He will learn more this season then 10 seasons at 4th tier.

Had to move on.

The patience of some players at that age can ruin them and left stagnating.

It’s an apropos description @BusiTheKing, he looks and even walks a bit awkwardly - I noticed he has a duck footed gait which makes him unortohodox and a bit inefficient in his running mechanics

Yet, he still comfortably & consistently gets away from his marker. Very much a team player, a lot to like but very raw still IMHO

Yes please!! We need this.

Him playing behind Yamal would be interesting. Talk about nightmare for opponents.

Said it before, If got the engine and got trained well defensive then fullback might be the play. Especially if you see that his offensive play starting from the wing doesn't go through the levels, like Juanfran (Real Madrid/Atleti), Dani Alves and the PSG physical beasts.

If it does go up the levels though, then sooner rather than later we will have to move him to the left wing like most modern widemen with the cut ins.

He’s right footed and has played on the left already which is often the case in the youth categories to be moved around

I know the Masia hype train has been on him for nearly 2 years but he has been a big surprise for me from my first viewing where even in the 4th division the defenders are quite physical with him and still looked absolutely unfazed

Masia DNA clear as he is a very collective minded player on the pitch which in attacking positions is not always the case that demands you to be brave and a protagonist

The difference, with a Lamine at a similar age is that he is less a flair player than Yamal was even then. I also think there is the no question a Lamine effect in La Masia if not world football for young players to see their time can be now to step up because he exhibits elite mentality on the pitch

Never clear how accurate coaching reports on player can be but they describe the kid’s character apart from the physical & football tools to be a difference maker at senior level - a humble but competitively driven difference maker. If you haven’t watched him for 90 minutes rather than the highlight compilations, I recommend it - a standout attacker, you have the impression he is always ready to skin his marker

Is Flick considering calling him up I wonder

He is almost the same age as Lamine, 8 months difference or so. Lamine is just a different level of beast for an early bloomer.

The "Lamine" effect can go both ways, as many who aren't ready will get greedy for the opportunity. It happened already with Guiu, likely happening with Guille Fernandez, Virgili also didn't wait (good decision for him) and even back in the day, the likes of Bojan and Dos Santos pushed for early promotion and it disturbed their development. Each one has his own developmental arch timeline, and the others early success will make some push for a one that isn't theirs.
