Delay happens in every construction, especially this size. If the other companies gave a slower timeline, it just means their delay would have been even worse.

And that doesn't even matter, because what's even more important than time is the total cost, as Limak was the only company out there ready to guarantee the maximum cost of it.

1A occupancy granted, but the club will only return for 1B for economical reasons.

The Barcelona City Council has granted the First Occupancy License for Phase 1A of Spotify Camp Nou, which will allow the stadium to reopen with a capacity of 27,000 fans. However, Barça had previously stated they would only return to the Spotify Camp Nou once Phase 1B, with capacity for 45,000, is completed. Until then, they’ll continue playing at Montjuïc. Nevertheless, a BIG STEP towards homecoming. [@victor_nahe]

At least they know what the city accepts now. So just copy the same things for the lateral side and the stadium should be good to go. In addition, I imagine the City council also demands the whole parking area to be closed at lateral, that's why Limak works in a big tempo the last couple of days there. In 2-3 weeks they should be able to do it.

The big risk from what I see (money wise ) is the delaying ( perhaps even abandoning for present time ) of the palau blaugrana (last step of barca espai). Because the budget of the arena depends on what remains of Camp nou and the five diamonds . The building of the arena is supposed to start next summer.

Don't make any Westerns about it. The club board decided not to enforce the 1m penalty on Limak based on factors concerning legal difficulties and most of all endangering the completion of the stadium project.

That could be cleared in court on later date.
