Tbh most LaLiga defending campaigns after 2018-19 were very disappointing and the only respectable one was Madrid 2020-21 cause they actually competed and took advantage of Atletico's horrendous form around midway point of the season.

One thing I can give to Messi, Malvolio, IniestaUltra and other Flick haters is they have been pretty consistent in their hatred. Even when we were winning all the games and very close to treble they were finding flaws, downgrading his success and shitting on our football. But you shit on him just in the bad times, and then go back to sucking his dikc when we are back to form

Why would i shit on someone when hes winning.

Laporta: “We are looking forward to reconnecting with all our fans in the United States and are grateful to LaLiga for the opportunity to get closer to one of the club’s most strategically important markets. We have been visiting the country for many years and have always felt the passion that FC Barcelona inspires.

As a global club with millions of fans around the world, this opportunity strengthens our commitment to our international fanbase — especially in a key market like the U.S. An official match in a city like Miami, with such a strong Barça community, will undoubtedly be a great spectacle, featuring two teams competing at the highest level.”

I was watching the last 6 campaigns of the LaLiga defending champions and while watching Barcelona 2018-19, it made me realise that we took the LaLiga title for granted. Insanely, we really didn’t care for it that much anymore and we didn’t realise its value until we started dropping off. It really is a hard thing to do to consistently win it and that’s why no team has retained LaLiga since ourselves in 2018-19.

Without a doubt he was right.

And the league we're talking about had in the Champions League over those 11 consecutive seasons: 7 wins, 9 final appearances, 18 semifinal appearances. Ridiculous.

And we won 3 Champions League titles over those 11 consecutive seasons where we were only bested by Madrid who won 4.

ACOM, a Spanish Zionist lobby that’s long defended Israel’s war crimes & attacked solidarity with Palestine, has filed a complaint accusing 10 La Liga clubs of “tolerating antisemitic messages” inside stadiums. Barcelona, Athletic Club, Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Celta & more

According to ACOM, the crime was that in recent matches, fans displayed Palestinian flags, banners reading “Stop the genocide”, and Basque or Catalan messages like “Israel suntsitu.”

They now want Spain’s Commission Against Violence and Racism in Sport to sanction those clubs.

The Spanish Football Players' Association (AFE), with the support of the Spanish First Division captains, announces that, during all matches corresponding to the ninth round of the Spanish National First Division League Championship, at the start of each match, the players will symbolically protest in protest of LALIGA's lack of transparency, dialogue, and consistency regarding the possibility of playing a competition match in the United States.

The union has decided to exclude the players from FC Barcelona and Villarreal CF, the clubs requesting the project, from the initiative, despite sharing the underlying position and critical points. This is to prevent the protest action from being interpreted as a potential measure against any club.

In the face of LALIGA's persistent refusals and unrealistic proposals, the Spanish Football Players' Association categorically rejects a project that lacks the approval of the main players in our sport and demands that the employers' association create a negotiating table where all information is shared and the exceptional characteristics of the project are analyzed, the needs and concerns of footballers are addressed, and the protection of their labor rights and compliance with current regulations are guaranteed.

But players alone are not enough. Fans need to do their part as well, if they really want to stop it.

La Liga have not shown footage of the first 25 seconds of the game between Real Oviedo and Espanyol. It is rumoured that all of La Liga teams' captains have decided to not play any football in the first 15-30 seconds of the games this weekend as a protest for the Villarreal - FC Barcelona game being held in Miami.
