7 - Ferran Torres

Seems like he will be fit for the weekend.

It's strange though that Ferran was 'diagnosed with an overload' - bro had a lot of rest??

Torres was the last Barca player to withdraw from the squad but has been diagnosed with an overload, not an injury, and the Spain boss agreed he needed to rest.

”There’s no injury, but tomorrow we need everyone at 100 percent, and Ferran wasn’t in the best condition. It’s been decided that he’ll rest,” he added.

According to SPORT journalist Carlos Monfort, Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has informed manager Hansi Flick that he continues to experience discomfort in his hamstring.

The situation means that his availability for the upcoming Girona clash remains uncertain and will be determined after tomorrow’s training session.

Despite taking part in parts of Thursday’s training, the outlet mentions that Ferran did not complete the full session with the group.

Instead, he focused on gym work during the latter stages to avoid any unnecessary strain. The coaching staff, aware of his importance and current form, are being cautious.

Rashford, Lamine and Ferran up top with Fermin behind could be a very strong offense for the upcoming Clasico, with Rapha as a super-sub due to lack of minutes.
Pedri and De Jong in midfield behind Lopez and BACK with Tek behind could be a very strong 11. Rapha, Roony, Araujo and/or Casado/Olmo as subs if need be.
