Dr. Ricard Pruna diagnosed Gavi with a small knee tear last August and advised surgery, but physiotherapist Raúl Martínez who has significant influence within the club pushed for physical therapy, which Gavi chose. A surgery as suggested by Dr. Pruna then would have sidelined him for only about 5 weeks. [Ivan San Antonio - @sport]

Can they ever make a right decision?

Always conflict interest when surgeons make their bags doing surgeries.

Honestly 1 more knee injury and he is in Fati territory.

Knee injuries aren't the same as chronic muscle injuries like say Olmo. He can get 20 and be fine. But a knee is never the same. He already will never be the Gavi he could have been
