Fermin has no ball control. Opening up closed defence and communicate between low and high lines, Olmo type player is a imperative. But Fermin works better against broken defence in late second half.

With Gavi and Fermin out, we need a miracle, that glass-Olmo will stay fit for at least 3 weeks, playing every 3rd-4th day. If absolutely necessary, Pedri will be able to play there as well with Casado and Frenkie behind him, or Rapha with Rashford and Lamine on the wings. But still, it's not ideal.

There's definitely less confidence with how Olmo has regularly gotten injured but there's more depth & options for Flick now. Never good time for injuries but better now than in the business end of the season

im so sick of the olmo disrespect. Fermin is amazing, however Olmo has been really good and steps up when we need him. He's just not flashy. He's always in the right place to score. The reason raphinia doesn't work as cam with rashford out wide is because then we don't have olmo who really makes an impact as a second striker sometimes. 18 GA is great! When lewa missed or just wasn't in the right place Olmo was. The only thing holding him back from rivaling palmer is his low profile and his injuries.
