Do not care how bad Madrid might play or how unimpressive they might look in the big games, as long as they pick up points constantly vs weaker teams they will be a threat for the title and we have to be careful.

And Mbappe is on fire.

Have to be very focused. Xavi Barca was not a great side either and in 2022-23 averaged a staggering 2.5 pts per game until the league was won. That's a 92-95 points season run if needed.

Complacency can kill us this season if Madrid produce a very consistent and motivated run. They may not play great compared with to top 5-6 sides in Europe. But the only other top 6 side in La Liga is Barcelona and if we fuck up they will win. 84-88 pts might not cut it this season.

A double Classico win would help, but still... need to get the job done vs weaker teams.

Pep Guardiola said back in 2024 that the pitch quality at Real Madrid's stadium was complete crap.

They should have solved it by now. Looks among the worst in the league.

Seems like natural light is better for grass than some artificial underground high tech lol.

Pep complaining about pitches is his trademark.

Sure, in optimal conditions, which is something stadiums of that size lack.

Movable pitches are top tier tech. From grass maintanance view, and economic one. Massive added value.

Possible issue with Bernabeu is, the sheer amount of pitch parts - 6 if i am not mistaken. And that implies a lot of visible seams. Which is why i would prefer solution of entire pitch removal / storage, or at least substantial less seams, which in case of Bernabeu was unrealistic.

But hey, if its only a visual thing, i dont care to be honest. While in any case, to claim among the worst pitches in the league is hilarious hyperbole.

Don't know if it's hyperbole, there's many sides having a great pitch quality. Atletico, Villareal is amazing, Bilbao, Espanyol, many really. Girona is pretty great I think also, Montilivi.

Didn't look that bad in the last clasico. But today it looked bad.

Yea they went all in to get it right for the biggest game in Europe, but I said it last week, it looks terrible and the mini stadium pitch looks significantly better.

They need to figure that out, it's been that way since the stadium was completed, a few good days, most bad ones.
