Real seems to be stronger in defence this season, Xabi knows how to defend. But even with a Mbappe in form they scored only 8 goals in 4 matches while we have scored 50% more goals and conceded only 1 goal more - tough ll run 🤔🤔

Mbappe gets all the goals now, because he took the ones from Bellingham and Vinicius for himself. This is the typical error people do. Only because one player starts to score, it doesn't automatically mean the team is stronger or have more chances to win games. So far they're weaker then they were without him 2 seasons ago.

Poor Girona. They are truly struggling. Every game huge mistakes by goalkeeper or red cards.

I would even support them under normal circumstances, but since they're City's parking lot, they can disappear into obscurity again.

But Xabi is looking more Xavi than Pep offensive wise. Maybe the struggles last season put his balls in his mouth the same way Slots season closure and Arteta's failures changed their offensive play too.
