Barca have too many players that are not starting level that hang on too long and happy with their lot.

No it isn’t.

His situation with Paris is unfavourable.
If he loved the city and culture etc he at least would have that going for him.
Paris in comparison to Barca just lowers the threshold substantially.

Never said it was a positive.

Point is that there are likely less redeeming aspects for staying and handling the situation than let’s say if this happened at Barca.
