I wouldn't mind a loan for Bernal.
It takes time to come back to your level after an ACL injury. He clearly wont be good enough to get minutes here until then.
6-month loan to a much lower side that gives him regular playing time is all he needs right now.

Or maybe, if he still with the B-team, he can hop between the two and it will be grand.

Fermin and olmo because we are producing AM at a Insane clip, one might be something truly special.

De Jong because bernal is seen by everyone in the club it seems as the next busquets.

Pedri is pedri
Gavi and casado have too much heart for you to lose that from your team, on top of being good.

FDJ ain't leaving. He will probably renew soon. Furthermore, Olmo for sure isn't leaving. Fermin might leave next summer if he doesn't get enough playing time this season.

A loan is good in theory but a con is that we lose control over his gradual return from injury. Clubs aren't stupid of course but there is a risk they don't take it easy with him like we would to avoid setbacks.

I don't want to sell him.

I rate him highly.
After season or two, he is 50mil player atleast.

There is less than zero percent chance they loan him out and leave his recovery in the hands of another club, that has no interest in the future welfare of the player.

Anyway, these La Masia lads are cules up to their eyeballs. I'd be shocked if any of them left the club even if we accepted bids for them.

And that's for the best. These homegrown lads are mes que what they do on a football pitch. They bring passion, unity, team morale and go the extra mile for the club.

It's a bit like Utd when they brought through the Neville's, Becks, Giggs, Scholes, Nicky Butt. I hope they all stay here for the foreseeable.

No way we are selling him, we are not dumb. That's a bullshit story and we should not even discuss this anymore. He has a very high potential and is the only proper DM we have in the squad.

There will be enough minutes for him. Also, just a crazy thought, we could try him on LB if shit hits the fan with injuries on Balde - I mean Eric, the few minutes he got on RB, played very well. Bernal is left footed, high footballing IQ, great defensively and pretty fast... or am I crazy?
