Spanish Nagelsmann?

Arsenal coach Carlos Cuesta is set to leave the club to become Parma’s new head coach.

The 29-year-old is expected to depart after five years at the north London club under Mikel Arteta. Cuesta had been in talks with the Serie A side for several weeks and is expected to travel to Italy on Wednesday.

Como's signings so far.

- Jesus Rodriguez, 19, LW, Betis, 22,5m (up to 28m)
- Martin Baturina, 22, CM/AM, Dinamo Zagreb, 18m (up to 25m)
- Jayden Addai, 19, RW/LW, AZ Alkmaar, 14m

- Alex Valle, 21, LB, Barcelona, 6m
- Ignace Van Der Brempft, 23, RB/CB, Salzburg, 5m
- Felipe Jack, 19, CB, Palmeiras U20, 2m

Last three already played for Como on loan with buy options they now executed.

Next up, should be confirmed soon - Nicolas Kuhn (25) from Celtic for a reported fee around 19m. Not sure about this one considering they already have Diao and Addai (could maybe look to loan him?) at RW but he's quite versatile. Played as a CF very early in his career so maybe Cesc sees him as a false 9 or something. Remains to be seen how he'll translate from a dominant team in the Scottish farmers league to an ambitious midtable Serie A team though.

Overall spending around 85m when Kuhn will be confirmed and TW only really officially started.

Also have agreed a 25m deal with Milan for Malick Thiaw (CB, 23) but the player is waiting for other offers with Newcastle reportedly his preference.

And they are also negotiating with Milan for Morata, loan with option to buy. Cesc always wants to have some of amigos in his team but tbf with the money they have they should look to sign a better striker. GK and CB (even if they get Thiaw) still a weakness too imo but otherwise a very solid team and they are probably far from over.

But besides new signings they will also have to offload a lot. According to TM they have 44 players though some of them like our former captain, Delle Ali and Alberto Moreno are there on paid vacations (Moreno did play 1.700 minutes last season so probably bit unfair to him, lol) and to provide some kind of veteran leadership.

Older players like Belotti and those who are still with them from Serie B and were already loaned out last season will be gone either this year or next when their contracts are up. It's a typical thing for newly promoted teams that are also financially backed (well, mostly just PL teams because new teams in other leagues usually can't go out and spend 100m+) so need a year or two to clear dead weight.

Butez (Audero)
VDB (Vojvoda/Smolcic) - Thiaw?/new CB (Goldaniga) - Dossena* (Kempf) - Valle (Moreno/Jack)
Perrone (Engelhardt) Caqueret (Da Cunha)
Kuhn (Diao/Addai) - Nico Paz (Baturina) - Jesus (Strefezza/Fadera)
Morata? (Douvikas/Cutrone)

I didn't know Henry and Terry crew was that rich

Henry and Crews are minority owners. Como are financially backed by Indonesian tobacco billionaires (Djarum group owned by brothers Hartono).

Fabrizio says their plan is to sign two CBs and are negotiating for Davinson Sanchez (Galatasaray), Carl Starfelt (Celta) and Madrid's Jacobo Ramon (they want a similar deal to Nico Paz one). So looks like they want one more experienced and another younger one, makes sense.

And they will also sign one of Perrone or Valentin Rongier so they are talking with both City and OM about these players.
