Failed first division player is just adding a tag of non sense

It is a fact, a fact that no matter how you spin it, ot remains a deciding factor in his value.

We just suck at selling, but it's nothing new.

And this is the true nonsense.

Fans have been saying that for 2 decades, with different boards, different SD etc. So, the one consistent between all of them is they suck at selling??!!

Barca doesn't suck at selling, Barca just don't sell someone worth selling. We try to get player to succeed here until we are 100% sure he isn't making it here, this is the one consistent of the club philosophy.

It is one of the reasons we rarely regret letting someone go. And it is the reason we don't sell high.

You don't get high sales like RM, you don't regret letting Hakimi go like they do, either.

As I said earlier, the one time we sold someone who was worth keeping in first team, it was Moriba. We got 16.5M when he was expiring and before Chelsea inflating the market of prospects.

And that's just fine. Being a solid player for one of the top half of the table teams is good.

Ofc it's fine. Many players can only dream to make it to that level. We often forget to put things into perspective. There are like 130k registered professional footballers around the world (and estimated more than 250 million people playing football overall) and only around 2,5k of them are playing for clubs in top 5 leagues so even footballers of relegated teams like Las Palmas or Valladolid who most are considering as shiet are generally still considered among the best in the world.

I was talking from a perspective of Pablo ever doing a career here or in another big team. Unless he would accept a bench/squad role after he'll prove himself as starter in "smaller" clubs over next 4-5 years then after leaving Barca he will 99% never make it back to an elite club. Most players are also aware of that fact so they want to stay as long as they possibly can once they get to a big club. It's not (always) just the money factor. And ofc fans often don't like or accept that but it's understandable from the players perspective.

We've tried to sell multiple players worth selling over the years and can't even get them out the door and we've sold players that are average mid players that multi other teams have shown they can get more for similar players than we can.

No one is talking about selling our best players, why would we do that?.

But Madrid for example have sold multiple avg Squad players for multiples what we have managed to.

I don't need to list them because the list is endless.

Again you try to play devil's advocate a bit too much.

This is your we need to buy cheap players talents for the first team situation all over again, when I told you we don't need to, that's why we have masia and free signings, leave that to the Villarreals of the world.

Not every devil needs a "to be fair" dude, somethings are just as simple and straightforward as they appear.

Just based of his only two good games, the likes of Madrid and Chelsea would have gotten more money for him.

Only excuse we have his we are shit and selling and always have been and we have a weak had right now.

The only thing we've gotten better at recently is including sensible sell on clauses with every player we sell for peanuts and it's been saving our asses.

So I'm not too pissed, but Chelsea selling Torre if he played it them for around twice what we got

Todibo was the sale that irked me the most. He wasn't even spoiled, as he was largely great whenever he played for Barca. In big games like Inter away, as well.

People will say we sold him cheap because of his bad attitude at Benfica, but that's hardly a legitimate reason. He hardly played there when on loan. And had a right to be pissed off after rejecting other big clubs to come here, play well, and then be loaned out.

Anyone who saw him play could see that Todibo was going to be a minimum 30-50m footballer in the next 2-3 years. Fast, strong, 20 year old French centre back. Very very easy to see. But we let him go for peanuts.

Gonzalo Garcia, who has shown less than Marc Guiu, and been largely poor , is rumoured that EPL clubs are considering paying his release clause of 50m Euros. If he was a Barca player you wouldn't get rumours of 5m.

Chelsea have sold numerous mid tier players, similar to the level of Torre, for 20, 30m.

It is what it is. :valverde2:

If we sold fermin and Madrid sold Gonzalo it would probably be for sold similar amounts and khaled would say TBF 😂 ( not coming at you, I can just already see you saying that.

Casado price already reported at 30m, for what he did in the first half of the season, the impact he had against all the big teams he played, an assist in each game, called up for Spain and did well.

Any other team selling him for 50m with easym

Revisionism, this topic has long been covered - player himself acknowledged he lacked sufficient professionalism while at Barça

Yup, seen the reports just now. Casado and Gonzalo Garcia rumours are for around the same price ( 40 - 50m Euros ), both from the same club ( Chelshit ). :rofl1::rofl1::rofl1::rofl1::rofl1::rofl1:Both are the same age.

How the fuck does that make any sense, apart from the fact that other clubs know, given the history of our outgoings transfers, that they can pull our pants down and get our players for peanuts??

I'm just glad Casado is Catalan and Fermin ( who is Andalusian ) but at least came through the Cantera. Otherwise both would probably have already been sold for a COMBINED total of around 60m by now. Despite both being individually 60m Euro players, at the very least.
