Need a player that has experience and is proven, somebody that can step in right away even in a CL knockout match vs a big club and can make a differrence. Fofana is too young and is not even a starter at Lyon.

Not many wingers that scored 17 goals this season in a big league like Diaz did. He'd be an excellent signing if the fee is not too big. Already a top player and can improve even more under Flick.

Not seeing a lot of him and like porque said not a lot of options in that position in the youth.

But he seems like someone worth investing in, he would be hungry to prove himself.

It depends on Diaz price, but Fofana should be looked at no doubt. He is one of the higher rated talents in Ligue 1. If he can be got for 25-30m, the risk is minimal. Is Lyon in financial turmoil or smth? I think this is close to the sum they paid for him.

I will make two predictions actually.

The other is that we’ll not sign a GK. Tek will renew for one more year.

Then Lucas Chevalier in 2026.

22 GA in 62 games for Lyon while only recently becoming starter is a pretty good return for a young player not called Lamine.

I feel he plays with his head down and have a bit of tunnel vision, but maybe I am nitpicking. Would love if someone who watched him more sged some light on his game

Fofana did more as a sub against Man Utd than Diaz over both legs against PSG. If the latter is the kind of player Barca will be relying in CL knockouts, we might as well forget about winning it.

He's mid as they come. Nearly 30y with little marketing value to ever justify the rumoured price tag. If the sporting department actually did some scouting they'd find plenty of runners for a fraction of that amount.

One of the versions I find believable about recent rumours signing Dibu as GK is to fuel further more a Messi comeback to Camp Nou in December/January.

On one side I'd be more than glad to see Messi back at the club, on the other it disrupts the clubs' growth what Koeman/Xavi/Flick worked hard to overcome.

I don't think it would be just a celebratory signing if that's what you are trying to say

Messi genuinely can help, I have no doubts. I would always take the greatest ever player as an option off the bench
