Fermin is faster, more intense and tenacious than Pedri, and his finishing ability is simply better. First touch though is quite all over the place and his passing is inconsistent to say the least.

He's a good squad player imo.

He's just fine. For his role he brings a decent amount and he gives something different to the other midfielders. No reason to get rid of him.

He needs to improve technically and physically going forward. He's quite weak and slow over long distances.

....the day any Barca fan thinks a player like Fermin Lopez deserves a full role in a Barca team is the day I concede and accept that Barca is on an irretrievable path that was toed by AC Milan, Parma, Blackburn rovers, Glasgow Rangers etc.

He said a role, not full role as a starter or something.

Fermin has a role as a squad player. That's as far as I'll go though.
