I thought you wanted me to admit our attack is faster without him? But since we put 3 passed PSG with him on pitch the claim is somewhat adjusted.

If on exorbitant salary I understand sentiment of people expecting more. Overall not been an impressive season. For what's worth has come out and claimed is on 1/3rd of what is reported.

Don't think yesterday did much wrong up before red. Kept the ball and always found someone to pass to. Instructions were clearly to keep things simple and not move up too quickly. Erdogan and Frenkie kept signaling Araujo to pass it to someone available instead of opting to pass long.

Don't know what yesterday is supposed to prove since last time you asked me as pretty clear what got us into trouble.

But again, been an underwhelming season overall for for him.

He was terrible to be fair. Looking at how some players failed us in this match... players we consider as key members of the teams and leaders, I'd have no trouble selling a few of them if the price is right. You simply have to show you belong at this level.

We can make top 4 in Spain without some of them also.

Attack? I said nothing about how he affected our attack, he adds nothing to it, so what is there for him to take away?

I said the team had shown time & again, his absence does not affect our performances, which is something you and a few of his other fans argued against.

I said he is not fundamental to the team, is presence or the lack there of, doesn't affect the teams performances especially at the highest level.

If you thought he was solid/good before the red, you must have been watching a different game from the rest of us.

I think this guy is starting to be too satisfied with his lifestyle. You need to have a bit of fire in you to become a truly top player.

With his contract ending in 2026 they have two options:

- Renew, likely on the same terms or better terms
- Sell him

If they let him run it down to a year left it just leaves all the leverage to him. Probably would have to sell him for scraps then.

Good point.

I think he likes the club, loves the city and his getting paid way more than he's worth, so in his mind he's just like I'm chilling

Rice, Rodri and Tchou are out of your league right now.


Lots of these names are not even DMs lol. Guimaraes is a CM. Calhanoglu is an AM being used deeper like a CM these days.

It's a pity Bayern likely won't be interested as I can see them agreeing to go there.
Even if they are there's no way I see them wanting to pay more than like 50m.

Arsenal maybe... he could do well with Rice next to him. Odegaard - Rice - De Jong. Or their North London neighbors.
