He plays great if the team plays perfectly.

But he's never the reason why the team plays great.

Managerial excuses don't hold anymore.

Gundogan is a having a great season even after suffering the biggest managerial downgrade of all time. Don't even get me started on teammate quality or the fact that he's playing a different role compared to his City spell.

Meanwhile Ping Pong needs to be coached by Rinus Michel himself and play next to prime Makelele to be "unlocked". What a joke !!!

When we comparing him to Gundo we should not forget that Ilkay playing way further ahed than Frenkie so it's easier to get better stats. Frenkie had proved several times that he is also able to create chances (not good as Gundo tough) . Overall I agree that Frenkie needs to play more risky in times when we need a goal. Anyways, trust in Frenkie! :frenkie:

In Frenkie's defense, it has been fairly well known that he excels when playing with other blondes. Look at his Ajax days, De Ligt? Blond. Donny van de Beek? Blonde. Kasper Dolberg? You guessed it, blonde.

Surround him with blondes and he is the best midfielder in the world. The blame lies totally with Xavi here, playing him with bastard brunettes like Gundogan and Pedri. Or even Laporta takes the blame for refusing to pull another lever and buy a season's supply of bastard blonde hair dye.
