What a performance. I had flashbacks of some previous games and moves of his that I always loved. He's incredible.
Not really. Messi played out of necessity, even though he wasn't ready. Puyol and Xavi played numerous games this season under injuries, and that didn't stop them. Abidal sad about 2 weeks ago that he's only capable of playing about 20-30 mins at that level. He obviously pulled it off, but it probably wasn't an everyday decision.

Played the entire 90 minutes AND was crucial in us keeping the clean sheet.
i wonder if he will be able to play against Bayern? Having him and Messi on the pitch would make me feel much more confident about getting to the final...
Him starting today was a miracle in itself, there's no way he'll play 2 games in less than a week.

I don't think he'll be able to play in such a physical battle at Allianz after playing full 90 minutes today. But he's a definite choice for any emergency.

Abidal is amazing! To play this good after nearly dying is unbelievable. He's an inspiration and hero. Hope he stays
