messi is far better than Ronaldo! The main problem is that a lot of people watch that Messi score or not.They don't see the beautiful balls, what he gives to his teammates! I'm a little bit scared too because of the ballon'dor.

Good point, I am also very worried about the votes, but we could look at it this way - if Messi won the prize today, I'd be worried about him winning the Ballon d'Or. Now that Iniesta has won today, I have no doubt Messi will win the Bd'O. Simply because there's no way Messi wouldn't win ANY of the two, considering his performance. It would be a joke.

I don't like overemphasizing individual awards, they're less important than titles, but it would be a huge injustiça if Messi didn't win.

Messi was very good with Argentina too! 9 goals 5 assists. If this trophy is individual than Messi should have won! For me Iniesta wasn't the best in EU! Pirlo was better.

Pirlo was great too, but Iniesta was better in my opinion. Messi did not play an international tournament this year so...
Messi is the better player and he has received so many awards and will continue receiving them, so now is time to be happy for Andres who is a talented footballer and deserves recognition

I think that if the vote was just between Messi and Iniesta or Ronaldo and Iniesta, Messi and Ronaldo would have won, but they ended up splitting the vote and Iniesta finshed ahead of them.

I don't understand something. When Messi was introduced with a little film, why just his goals could we see? They should have put other things too, and thy didn1t speak about the assists. Messi isn't just a goal scorer

Apart from that, somebody see's a change in Messi's playing style over the last 3 games? (Supercopa, Osasuna, Supercopa) He somehow doesn't run as much as before, just at the end of the clasico we could see him running again all over everywhere. Or was he just covered too well from defenders?

This award is about the best player in Europe last season. Iniesta was injured in september 2011, november 2011, december 2011, januari 2012. He was out for months.
Although I love Iniesta and he does need some recognition for his work, I think this award is about the best player and to be honest nobody comes near Messi. That’s why I feel this is a real injustice.
Again, Iniesta needs recognition but lets be honest here..
When I saw them after the show walking together, it was really weird..Messi not the best player??
