Sorloth cant be worse technically than Lewa has been for the last 2 years.

He might not be as clinical, but he sure has younger legs to do the job a Flick/modern-day striker is required to do, which Lewa currently isnt able to. If Sardine can score bucket ton off goals, then I am sure Flick will make Sorloth score plenty of goals.

That alone gives him the edge.

He scored 4 goals in 33 LL games for Sociedad in his first season in Spain in 21/22 2 years after leaving the EPL. Turn on your brain and consider some nuance matey. Obviously he wasn't developed yet. That's firstly. Secondly, if you actually read this thread, you would notice that the majority is against signing him and calling him a donkey

He might also be crap (which would be equal to what we already have) but at least his physique would enable us to keep the ball once in a while if it hits his chest or his head. We don't have that with any of our CFs, so he would be rated 4/10 compared to our current 2/10 CFs. Improvement for the poor.

I am not saying he will be a world beater. All I am saying is he will be better than Sardine in front of the goal, and has the legs that Lewa doesn't. We will be disappointed with him for sure, but atleast he's better than both in some aspect while not being worse than both in any aspect.
Also when I say cheap I mean, ATM might be willing to let him go for around 35-40m. For a LaLiga proven player who is decent, I think it's a fair price.

Don't forget, Sorloth is a crazy header of the ball. He is actually quite good when directly in front of the goal.
And we have a player in Yamal, who has one of the best crosses in the world. We have to pair him with a player who is physically imposing and is good as a target man. This is my main reason why I want Sorloth, heck even Vlahovic.
