Barca at 1.32 to qualify at bookies for whatever that is worth.

Could make a very strong team of players who didnt start today.

Probably fancy that to beat todays team to be fair if all fit. A lot more athletic in defence and midfield.

GK -Scez
DR - Kounde
CB- Eric
CB - Christensen
LB - Balde
DM -Frenkie
DM- Gavi
AM - Olmo
AML - Rashford
ST - Ferran
AMR - Roony

Get to intl break in CL and 2 league wins and picture could start to look different.

They are harder to beat but a better team how?

They play dogshit football and get results. Only difference between them and us is when we do it we get crucified by general public because we are a big club with history and clear football identity that actually involves playing football

We will 90℅ qualify in the second leg even though we played horrible in this first leg. Arsenal would likely be horrible over both legs and qualify. Where is the difference again?

They play cowardly anti-football centered around results only. I have no respect for them as a team

I don’t like Arteta or the style of football they play, it’s a million miles away from the style they had under Wnger. But you can’t deny their effectiveness. They didn’t fluke topping the European table, or beating Bayern Munich.

Wenger consistently failed in the CL - even the Invincibles team did fuck all other than that run to the final in 2006.

If anything, while I don't enjoy watching them. Arteta is on to something in knowing going back to basics and winning through physicality and set pieces is a safer bet in the modern football environment than trying to play gorgeous football. Sad, but true.

In saying that, I would still back Bayern in a final over Arsenal.

Said it before, this team has NO control.
Lopez cant control and distrube for shit since hes not a real midfielder.
Bernal cant either.
Pedri is more an AM then a controller.
We pretty much has no midfield and its all Messipendia again but now its Yamal.

The defence definatly does not work again better team, they beat the offiside trap over and over.
A better team would have scored 4-5 goals against us today.

Pedri is the definition of a controller. You can't control the game when your teammates keep giving the ball away and don't press well enough to retrieve it.

he did fuck all for Yamal, around 25 min mark he was a couple meters next to him with no pressure and he just ignored him went the other way, irony late in the game he's yelling at rags to get close to him

dude gets praised for worthless pirouettes

hoofball insha is pathetic at least with Newcastle they get crosses in

Newcastle's schedule is tough rn too. We will go through but this game hardly inspired confidence.
Newcastle barely got anything to play for in the league though. Going deep in CL is a big opportunity for them. Realistically their goal should also be to reach SF and take it from there.

Priority for us at the moment is to take some risk in the league in the home matches with rotations. Team looks worse physically than I thought. We have to use the Camp Nou factor to help us.

Newcastle still with plenty to play for.

CL places unlikely but still there, other European spots, finishing above Sunderland, the money for places in EPL also for a team looking for as much FFP space as can get these days.

The manager also wants to keep his job and finishing in bottom half and that far off pace isnt good for him or club looking to keep likes of Tonali, Guimaeraes, Libramento, Gordon.

Cant see them fucking off game v Chelsea as play Barca a few days later.

Three matches before the break at home, that ought to give us some comfort to take more risks. With a positive score in hand, getting past Newcastle is a must and worth a bit of risk vs Sevilla.
