Again, if you love this club, and I hope Xavi does, you should put your ego behind this and move on. This accusations are on the verge of absurd and if Font only has this cards to play than he should be nowhere near the club. No one is aying Laporta is the ideal president but in comparison to Font he is a jackpot.

He will say his love for the club means he doesnt think Laporta is the right man and wants an open debate.

Dont think Xavi in speaking is doing anything wrong and 'you say you love the club' is a very weak argument to try and shut him up.

His words are too much of 'poor me' anyway and wont have much impact as easily batted off.

Xavi should stop running his mouth and go coach a segunda team to prove he can even coach. His Barca did completely outdated haramball with lot of possession and no end result in typical amigo fashion and his defense wasn't any better without even engaging in kamikaze ball like Flick. Fluked a league with luck and Stegen unfrozen mode, smashing fodder with 1:0 late inshalla winners by likes of Ruud. His Quatar team was the top dog before he joined. Wery weak track record to even be in any kind of discussion.

I always say he should go to dortmund, best team for young coaches to gain experience without much pressure

Under Xavi the club got embarrassed in the EUROPA LEAGUE, won the title by getting lucky 1-0 wins, parking the bus at home because the team couldn't hold possession even vs small teams on a regular basis. The fact that this season was lucky is the horrendous second season where the same issues persisted and the lucky wins stopped.

Playing absolute shit football and raging every game is his legacy. So I don't understand what foundation did he lay when 80% of his tenure the football was absolute garbage.

And then came Flick and Barca was able to dominate games once again.

He should be silent since if he wasn't a legend he would be bounced in a matter of months and instead was given all the support until he went off rails.

And also talking about getting back Messi and having his goodbye season is the exact mentality that failed this club. Sacrifice the future to pay messi just for their friendship, instead of building progress is the worst thing that could have happened.

A disgraceful interview to push Powerpoint Font. It must really hurt that Flick showed the world, that these players are indeed competitive. Since they can't attack from the sporting side, they try it the other way around now.

If it's just a simple truth and not a campaign, why wait with this interview until election week? Why risk agitation before an important CL knock-out match? A classic stab in the back. They all think about their own personal fights, not about the club or the team.
All the red cards during his coaching career showed his innerself as well. Xavi can fuck off back to the desert, he'll never have Iniesta's character. Thankfully his miserable coaching skills reduced the weight of his words, so Laporta has nothing to fear.

Legend of a player, bum of a manager. He was whoring himself out to United recently and even they had zero interest. Won't manage a midtable (his level) club because of his ego therefore will not progress as a manager.

Font would give him a lifetime contract and probably re-sign a 40 year old Messi just to stick it to Laporta because fuck the future. These 2 sum up everything wrong with Barca and the amigos, stuck in the past. Coming out with this shit before a huge CL game is also a gay bitch move for a man that supposedly loves the club. Fuck off back to Qatari league Mister.

Flick is twice the manager and twice the man.

Apparently, the timing is because last week Laporta had an interview with the same media and said some things against Xavi. Xavi contacted this media to respond, hence the bad timing.

Also per Soria, who has close relationship with Messi and his entourage, Messi accepted to lower his salary to $10mil net and was doing everything the club was asking for, furthermore La Liga had approved this renewal (the summer before he was kicked out)

Honestly Im glad he left the circus, and it was probably time for him and the club to move on, but the way it was done was fucked up.
