If anyone thinks we are getting a big name CF,they are delusional.
The money is not there. A proven striker will cost 80 million upwards and even a wildcard like Marmoush would cost 50 million.
Better stick with what we have then. No point spending money on trash just to say you bought something

We need a proven goal scorer as a STRIKER, I mean someone with the killer instincts of Suarez or Inzaghi and Thuram is not the guy sorry. Forget about Chemistry or Biology here, Marcus Thuram isn't an upgrade from Ferran Torres ffs. Ferran had a better 24/25 season and is currently still besting him in the 25/26 season

I am not gonna take seriously anyone who thinks Marcus Thuram is not better than Ferran Torres
Clearly you have low understanding of the sport.

People underestimate just how shit Ferran is

They think he has a place among top strikers just because he plays for a big club. He is by far worst of all starting strikers for top clubs in big 5 leagues at the moment

His level is Betis/ Villarreal and such clubs. Speaking of those two clubs Mikautadze is better than him and he is approx. on Cucho's level

Thuram is surely an improvement over Ferran which itself doesn't mean much. Whoever we sign is 99℅ an improvement over Ferran. But we have to aim for the best we can get. Thuran is a good option and a player who's proven his abilities on the biggest stage. But I think concerns about playing in a lone striker role are justified.

Ferran can't be anything other than squad player.
we have enough sample after 4 years of him here

Same hold for many others, like Fermin Casado Martin Eric Kounde (possibly also) Balde, who we have been forced to see as starters due to lack of options

The only ones currently that can legitimately be seen as starting material for a top5 (let's say) team in Europe are only Joan Garcia, Cubarsi (his 2023-25 version), Pedri, Raphina, and Lamine
For all the others upgrades are either desirable or simply a necessity

That's the entire point! Ferran is utter crap but still better. Stats don't lie bro. It's not just goals, he bested him in assists too.

Flirting with Juve? Napoli blocked his move to Juve before Galatasaray got him. Wtf are you talking about? Besides Juve is still a big prestigious team, they just need to see out the current turbulent phase. Every team has had its fair share of ups and downs
You really think he wants Juve when can easily go to much better teams at the moment

Current turbulent phase you are talking about is not exactly current. Has been going on for some time. Juve was last involved in a title race in 19/20. In Europe all humiliations since that final vs Madrid where they also lost 4-1 . Last top footballer they signed is Ronaldo 7 years ago and if not for Yildiz, Bremer, Thuram and a couple more jackpots they hit would be a 100℅ mediocre side
