Was thinking the same.
Bodo gains an illegitimate advantage by their pitch.
If you look at their home record in Europe since 2020 it's only a couple of draws and defeats, and all the rest is Ws.
Can't be coincidental, without taking away anything from their coach

Forget about a cold night in Stoke is just doesn't fit anymore. In the 2020s It's all about if Messi could have done it on a freezing night in Bodo, or whether his balon dors would have frozen into tiny yerba mate flavoured mochi's.

I was referring to a different post I glimpsed recently where Benfica demanded imidiate investigation on Mbappe provoking Prestianni using racial remarks against him prior to the incident between Prestianni and Vini but cannot find it now and I am not bothered to search...

Either way, I think UEFA f**ed up big time with this decision, of course mainly under the pressure of Papa Perez and his media influence... now everyone can use this case in the future... lets say we play PSG and they make an official claim that Pedri was racial towards Dembele after the first leg... from what they have done now, if the investigation is not done before the second leg (which in most cases won't) then Pedri should be "provisionally" suspended for the second leg... and what happens if they find him not guilty after that... who will be to blame and how is the player/team going to be compensated...

This is the tactics Real Madrid use. Throw some accusations out there and then use those accusations to get a footballing advantage.

If accusations prove to be right then they get a pat on the back for ' defending the integrity of football '.

If accusations prove to be false, then Madrid have still gained their footballing advantage anyway and it's too late to go back and correct things.

This is how they are working with the Negreira thing as well. Real Madrid robberies have gone into overdrive on the back of " ..... buh buh buh , we aren't the ones that paid millions to Negreira. "

What happens when we are proven innocent, then ?? It's a loss for us either way, because the damage has already been done, repuatationally, and sportingly. And Madrid know it.

I believe there might be a legal term for this but I forgot what it is. Basically, it's an offense to falsely accuse everyone of wrongdoing.
