@khaled_a_d , are some of these kids we signed lately considered premiere talents?
Simple answer is no, none of those are at the Estevao, Echeverri or even the Roque categories.
But I think with each and every one of them, there is actual chance of being an imported first team player. Obvious, odds are still heavily against that.
Patricio is a starter in his club in Uruguay, CB/LB hybrid who was by numbers one of the best defenders in the league, at the age of 19.
Onstein doesn't have a comparable CV, but the kid has all the tools. He is built like Araujo and is good on the ball. But he hasn't made debut in Belgium and didn't continue in Ajax, which is weird.
Ajay is rapid, super fast who can dribble and plays with his head up fairly well. He was wanted by several solid academies like Chelsea, City and BVB. Raw talent is there.
Hamza has the biggest upside due to his position, he was wanted by Bayern and Manu too. Modern day striker who plays well with his back to the goal, while still being a primary box presence. Still, the last player from Ahly who had success in Europe was
Hany Ramzy, who is likely older than Hamza's dad. He was a standout in U17 level, but struggled with first team, mainly because he played with Ahly's reserve team who faced first division sides, while trying to avoid injuries due to the Barca interest.
I would say that other than Patricio, all are simply good addition to youth teams, and from there they have a chance to first team just like the rest of talents we have.
They are in areas that we lack big talents in, I think Hamza is a bigger striker talent than Giatsu or Kluivert, Onstein is bigger talent than Cuenca, Ajay is better than what we have at LW.
They will all need patience from the club and fans.
Patricio is more of a Gerard Martin potential replacement IMHO. If he proves himself I can see us selling Martin and promoting him right away
