He's a pure Footballer and a creative midfielder whose game isn't about numbers at all and still he gets great numbers.
Every Football fan, manager and expert who has actually watched him play the game fawns over him. Klopp called him a generational talent.
He was continuously let down by his teammates at the start of this season. Still is. Only Ekitike plays well as an attacker. He came into a dysfunctional system and wasn't given any time to settle in.
Ask any Liverpool fan. We all knew that he was the real deal even when he was playing his first few games. He has played well for a long time now.
Some players are so talented that you can clearly see the hype when you watch them play. There's a reason Madrid, City and Bayern all publicly wanted him.
6 goals and 3 assists in his last 10 games as a midfielder.
And like I said, his game isn't even about numbers.
There's not a single midfielder in the world I'd swap him for.
Keep disrespecting him without ever having watched him play. Ignorance can be really entertaining. You really do love to go over the top about this guy. You'd think you'd have learned to keep your mouth shut after you and Birdy talking bollocks in the summer about Liverpool having the title won when they won the transfer window, but no. You're still being an arrogant buffoon.
I doubt you watch the Bundesliga every weekend in between being on here, your Taekwondo teaching (lol) and your other fibs. You clearly rate this guy going by stuff like highlights videos, the odd big game at Leverkusen, hype and stats. I'd be amazed if you watched more than a few full games of him before he joined the murderers.
You also added in a little pointless, meaningless appeal to authority for effect 9and it isn't the first time I have seen you try this in a lame attempt to give your point more gravitas). And a 2 minute highlight video. I will give you this - when you love a player you really do obsess over them like it makes you better as a person yourself if they succeed
He's a class player but he's not 'best player in a team that defines an era' class like you try to paint him as. I have watched football for decades, seen loads of players, and he just isn't. If he stays in England for 10 years I'd be amazed if Liverpool win more than three titles max (though maybe not as the level of the league is truly dreadful at the moment).
In PL terms, he will never ever be prime De Bruyne or Salah. If Wirtz played in that era (even future prime Wirtz) he'd just be another good player in one of those teams.

Just proves how shallow and weak-willed they are that a run of decent performances against average teams, and some goals and assists, causes them to backtrack. And how shallow you are too that you think that's a good point to make to reinforce your argument.
There's many differences between you and I, but the main ones are:
1) I don't use highlights videos to rate a player;
2) I don't engage in meaningless appeals to authority;
3) I don't drool and obsess over footballers like I am related to them to make myself feel better about my own life and inadequacies. It's abundantly clear that Wirtz is your new Lewandowski and you're gonna tie your self-esteem to him for the next 10-15 years, as you have Robert.

According to some on here (one guy in particular) he's an eclectic mix of Zico, Platini, Zidane and Maradona.
