Winning 2 LLs again Barca and RM is arguably more impressive than winning 3 PL versus Man United (Chelsea wasn’t Chelsea yet).

I'm shocked at his talent ID for defenders.

If he actually had an elite defence like with Godin and Miranda back in the days it would perhaps make him allow his midfielders and forwards to actually play football.

Instead this man has purchased one scrub after the other and also lost himself some finals and key games playing the biggest scrub of them all Stefan Savic.

Simeone is great. Always liked him and his passion. Although he does get too much praise on here for the 2014 league title as it coincided with Ancelotti, known for his weakness as a league manager, and a Barca side managed by a fraud who admitted that he wanted to involve Messi as little as possible in our games, glued him to the touch line far away from the ball, which led to his worst season ever and an amount of abuse on here that Lamine can only dream of. Anyway, Simeone and Inter are a match made in heaven. Surely the next step in his career after a year off or two.

When he had Godin and Miranda, Atletico played just the same way. This is his philosophy throughout, no matter if he has Maradona or... Pjanic on the squad.

Griezmann was his best player for all of these 15 years and his great display was thanks to Simeone's anti-football. Once at Barca those open spaces dried out and Griezmann failed.

Will be a huge loss for ATM. Quality of LL just keeps getting worse and worse. ATM will be back to being that team that we used to beat 6-0, 4-0 on a somewhat regular basis.

Nah, it's a well-run club that Simeone helped become a big one.
