Liverpool the club he scored and celebrated against?

The club where he bottled nearly every big 6 clash? We have enough legends who have carried us to actual major trophies.

Where he brought the club and King Kenny into disrepute with racism, biting and immaturity?

Do your research donkey and go bite yourself like Suarez (you have the tools for it).

Also, no argument against the facts I mentioned obviously but we already know why so.......

He’s still done more for Liverpool than Lewa ever did

PS: King Kenny is a nobody in the grand scheme of football legends.

This moron really lecturing people about being true Liverpool fans and then saying King Kenny is nothing.

Stick to creaming yourself over MLS highlights. You're a total meme at this point. But then again, we don't expect anything else from a Top Culer with a Zizou profile picture.........

I have a question, why did this guy decline so much after 2016, between 2013 and 2016, he produced 3 great seasons and even 2014-15, he managed to redeem himself after that 3 month suspension, but after 2015-16, when he came back in 2016-17, it's like it's not the same guy anymore, he did absolutely alright that season, scoring 36 goals and giving 20 assists. But man the decline was evident.

Torn Meniscus in 2014.

I don't think the details were ever revealed but considering he was back to playing in like a month for the World Cup it's likely they removed it or most of it.

Which we know with Ansu and other footballers have long-term complications and consequences.

Likely couldn't move as well as he wanted or train as hard as he could which also led to him gaining some weight and running in a weird way.

The reason why we got him for so cheap is due to him biting Chiellini but also probably because his knee was compromised.

Most players just don't have the temperament or the hunger to last long at the top.

Here's a detailed answer from a guy who has watched every minute he played for years. Must warn you that the forum members might not like this answer because he's Messi's best friend and Latin American. So stop reading now if it makes you mad. This is a serious post and not a wind-up attempt (tbf I'm really good at that too).

His technical ability is massively overstated by some fans. Someone like Benzema has a better and more consistent technique in the buildup phase. Suarez is a far far better finisher than Benzema though. His shooting technique is superior.

His technique is extremely inconsistent and hit or miss. Suarez is capable of a sensational first touch. He's also equally capable of a horrendous first touch. He can pull off a great nutmeg. He also has countless failed nutmegs where he unnecessarily loses possession. He's a ricochet merchant and his dribbling is extremely untidy. He often hits the ball off the defenders' legs to win the ball in a tussle which isn't a reliable method. He is capable of jaw-dropping volleys. He's also capable of laughably bad shots.

The good thing about him was that he was very selfless and industrious. Even if he failed, he just kept trying. Had that Latin American hustle and hunger like Tevez. He's a massive trier. He's a complete team player and has no ego on the pitch. Suarez thrives in chaos not pure technical brilliance.

He relied on his burst of pace to ricochet the ball off defenders and take the ball away. Once he lost his pace, it was a lot tougher.

Why didn't he last long? All the strikers who lasted long were great at holdup play and strong in the air. The biggest weakness in his game was that he's weak in the air and can't play with his back to goal. He always prefers the ball to feet instead. That makes him useless at attacking crosses which is a big strength for old strikers like Benzema, Ibrahimovic and Dzeko who all aged like fine wine.

He was never really clutch for Liverpool. Consistently disappeared against the biggest Premier League teams throughout. For Barca, you guys already know the story so I'll leave that you Culers.

I can elaborate and analyse further if you want.

Thank you guys for the insight, I love Luisito but man was his downfall so bad. I really want to say that he’s better than Eto’o but at least Eto’o was consistent in his level delivering absolutely legendary seasons in 04-05, 05-06 and 08-09. Suarez only had 14-15 and 15-16 where he was consistently one of the best if not the best striker in the world.
