Rancid performance. Humiliating. Morgan Rogers with one of the worst displays at Wembley I can remember. Emery loses points as well for keeping him on for 33 minutes longer than he should have. English Tarrif is Trump level on that Rogers guy.
Nobody will convince me Bailey is not the best winger they have. He did more in his little cameo than Rogers, Asencio, Watkins put together.

Bailey has been utterly horrendous all season. He was our brightest player yesterday though.

You're relying on snookers on Sunday mate. Need Fulham to beat City, or Everton to draw with Newcastle, or Forest to get something against Chelsea.
You confident? Forest getting something seems by far the most likely avenue. That's taking into account beating United, and as bad as they are Villa often fuck up against them. As stated before the EL Final, I think it is important that United lost midweek to demoralise them for this game. They'd have gone in confident had they won. Villa will be delighted with that.

They had a bad start to the season but think just a blip. They should still finish 5th to 8th.

Their best chance of getting a spot in the CL is by winning the Europa League and they should be favorites to win it.
They should mainly prioritize on that if they can.

I rate the guy, and he seems a good lad, but it's more proof that being a top professional player doesn't make you knowledegeable, or smart. Not just Ronaldo at 1, but Pogba at 3. He will be a meme pundit in 20 years I am sure
He is a bit of a shooter who flits in and out of games, a counter player, so messi he cannot relate to.
Though I am sure his list would be very different if he was asked to name objectively best and not favourite.

Was good for Roma under Mourinho. Since then his career has been poor.
Definitely a gamble. He could miserably flop too. The thing is it's pretty expensive for Villa rn. He's 28 and not better than Watkins. He misses a lot of easy chances but works hard (just like Watkins).
I was expecting something fresher and more exciting from Villa. Like a hidden gem.
Prediction: Average to underwhelming signing as a squad player (second choice striker).

Not sold on him but will likely contribute ok. I wouldn't see him as a signing to greatly advance Villa, though. I don't really think he's any better than Malen, tbh, who I read has left or at least gone on loan (not really been keeping abreast with the transfers).
