Probably yeah, I think pubalgia played a role here though
But second part of the season is what truly matters. Olise is fantastic player but last season didn't show much in UCL

Great talent, but doing it at Bayern in the Bundesliga is not enough.
He either needs to showcase it in the Champions League in the knockout stages with Bayern or move to one of the Prem big clubs.

Yamal for me.
Every team doubles up on Yamal and goes heavy on his side of the park as not as scared to leave the other Barca attackers 1v1.
Olise is working off an attack built on Kane and playing round that and Diaz who stretches pitch.
Top player but what also sets Yamal apart is him doing it at intl level so far.
Most other wide players done very little at intl level in comparison in last few years.
Some players need a system and freedom. Yamal would thrive in any as has the lot.

People said the same about Lewandowski, Neuer and Muller. Just excuses to undermine great players from a league they don't like. If these players were Real Madrid/Barcelona icons, you people would worship them.
What about the La Liga being considerably weaker than it used to be? Pedri hasn't done anything special in the Champions League knockout stages or international knockout stages either. Yamal has, fair enough.
And Olise was amazing in the Premier League at a midtable club too so this "farmers league" narrative doesn't really work here. Some of the best players in the world play in a bigger "farmers league" (Ligue 1) currently.

No one, or me said anything about Lewa, Neuer or Muller. Did you forget they were multiple Champions league winning players and World cup winning players?
Making up scenarios now are we? Or if they did, they are dumasses. I distinctly remember, a lot of folks being excited of Lewa joining us. He kinda "saved" us during our worst of days,

There isn't a league where two giants like Barca & Madrid clash. So a player doing well in any of these two teams would automatically be seen in that light.
And did you conveniently forget that Pedri has a Euro?
He wasn't amazing, he was good enough. You are making up words to fit your narrative.
He was good.
His stats has massively improved since moving to Bayern. Which is what we all are talking about.

Pedri got injured by Kroos against Germany (QF) and missed out on all the biggest games of the tournament so a campaign until the round of 16 in the Euros doesn't prove much here, does it?
He's still young and has plenty of time to change it obviously but so does Olise so it's a bit unfair to hold it against a player who just started playing in the CL.
Both Pedri and Olise need to show it in the CL and international knockout stages. Both are still absolutely brilliant and world class already.
And Olise was brilliant for Palace. You clearly didn't watch him at Palace. He's much more than just stats. Ask any Palace fan.

Pedri has been a staple for whichever team he is fit to play, for over half a decade.

Nice try putting Neuer in with those 2.
After the CL of early 2010s and especially 2014 WC, everyone knew Neuer is the best and potential GOAT GK.
Lewa and Muller were less proven.
