I am unusually relaxed for this one. I can see us getting some positives from either result, loss or win.

Worst would be an undeserved win tbh. Would make us cocky for no good reason for the rest of the season. This Madrid is weaker than us, so if we do our usual game, we will win rather comfortably.

Fans will complain about anything other than a massive smashing and even then it will be that Real is just too shit

It's the reality. Last season we smashed Real 4 times and fans were fuming at Flick for losing once because apparently Madrid is worst it's ever been

But we have to consider that even though Madrid is weak right now they are a side with enormous individual quality and on their day can go toe to toe with every team in Europe

Any kind of a win will do good for me. This is not a crucial game. Whether we lose or win matters only because biggest rival is in front of us. If it was Atletico, I honestly wouldn't give a shit

RM are weak but Clasico often has its own rules. RM will put up a fight but are very vulnerable to a collapse if they feel game is out of reach. Important we kill their confidence with a goal or two. Can't see them coming back from that unless we get really complacent.

My god, what are the other teams then?

Form often means little in Clasico. It's a different kind of match than anything else.

Definitely adds more weight to this Supercup than if we played Atletico or some other team.

Optimistic about our chances and expecting Madrid to be nervous as they have much more to lose than Barca with their coach job on a line.

I get what he's saying, they havent won a trophy for decent amount of time. And Florentino increased bonus for his players. Even that wont save him.

One thing assures me is, that our team under Flick doesn't fall apart from a fast goal received. Blancos can always exploit an early mistake into a fast counter and goal. They also did it last season in the Supercopa final and lost 5-2 in the end and without Tek's red card, it would have been historic.

Agree. Don't know what people are smoking here. With the state of our defence it's hard to be comfortable. Madrid current level do not really matter.

I miss 2012 when Modric came, when Ronaldo did a backheel over Pique and Messi scored a banger free kick when commentator said this is Messi class, thats above world class. And it was played at Bernabeu.

Thank God for youtube.

It's a final and it's a Clasico so I want a win. Don't make it obvious though so Xabi can keep his job. Something like 1-1 and then 2-1 in the 97th minute by Raphinha after the referee just gave 6 minutes OT. That way Madrid media will have something to cry about.
