It's simple. I like him but it just isn't working. What can we do?
It's almost December and there are zero positive signs or patterns of play. He's still picking players based on personal relationships instead of merit.
We have some of the best players in every single position. We have been poor since February.

I'd take Konate on free if we have no money for Schlotterbeck (we don't)
He's like Araujo with slightly better IQ, better passing and more confidence. It's not perfect but honestly I would take it over everything we have right now
Maybe if Pool signs a CB in January, we can end up getting him for really low money too

People were including him in their top 5 CB itw lists alongside Virg, Gabriel, Saliba and Bastoni.

I have more belief in him than Upamecano. Upamecano plays Bundesliga and does well but this night is an example... proper opponent on the other side and he makes a shit pass leading to goal and loses the game
Konate has some experience in EPL and is used to top opposition
