Semenyo is obviously a Hughes signing (Bournemouth connection), not a Slot signing whatsoever.

Slot is still stubborn and I'm still not sure he's the man to take us forward. Have seen nothing to suggest that he isn't out of his depth.

He is the man, he got you a PL out of the blue with 0 transfers. Believe...

I think right now Edwards and co are correcting the mistakes of the period when Edwards was gone, and club was practically run by Klopp, with many suboptimal or failed signings (Nunez, Gapko, Arthur, Endo, etc.)

Nunez for 80m in 2022 instead of ISak for 60m was such a huge mistake. It costed you 150m, and 3 years lost, to correct it. Same is happening now with Semeneyo replacing Gapko

Dude trust me, last season was all Klopp residual.

All Slot did was reinvent Gravenberch as a DM (credit where it's due) and made us more defensive. The patterns of play were typical Klopp.

This is his real system and coaching. It's nearly December and I haven't seen any visible patterns of play this season. Zero. Our press is a joke with no cohesion.

We have been awful since the PSG tie last season.

Gakpo and Endo were successful signings. They were supposed to be squad players and did great at that. It's Slot's fault that he's building the team around a squad player like Gakpo instead of Wirtz. Arthur was a loan signing which hasn't affected the club in any way. Just a cheap punt.

I don't think it was similar to Klopp at all last season.
More defensive, but also different in many ways: less intensity, less pressing, less directness, less running, more caution, more precision, more buildup and baiting opposition,
(Less entertaining than Kloppball for sure)

Besides, he has already proven at Feyenoord he has his own identity and approach about football
