Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Alba:

“I think he’s (Lamine Yamal) a fantastic player. But there are other great players like Frenkie, Pedri, Gavi… but comparing him to Leo… there’s no comparison possible. He’s unrivaled, in my opinion,” he told El Larguero.

“Messi is the best in history. It’s normal that he has the key to Camp Nou! Messi didn’t say anything to me. I’m being honest. I haven’t even asked him. My father told me, but it’s not something that particularly interested me,” he added.

“It’s a pleasure to have had the good fortune to share so much time with him on and off the pitch. I already spoke to him about it when I was in Paris, but we haven’t talked about it since.

“He didn’t like his departure. Leo wants a tribute, and I hope it happens. He deserves it, and I think it will. It will be a wonderful celebration. Everyone is waiting for that moment.”

yo first i didnt want to say sth about that but since many ppl asking me for my opinion (what i really appreciate) i will explain it to you guys:

I completely agree that Messi had more pressure at nt than Cristiano at nt

but there is a reason for that:

Messi was born in a country which is used to winning wcs and copa americas so ofc ppl wont be happy until they win sth

Cristiano was born in a country which never won a tropy so if he wouldnt have won sth he still didnt disappoint anyone, winning 1 major trophy would be already overachievement, he won 3 major trophies which crushed expectations beyond imagination !

Cristiano had the pressure which Messi had at nt for Real as Real is a club which is known for winning cls so until 2014 he didnt fulfilled the expectations, then he exploded and i dont think i have to explain what happened then...

----

ok guys i will stay away from this thread again until ppl ask me for my opinion again, have a nice evening, siu !

>3 major trophies

> Cr had the same pressure at RM as Messi had at Argentina

> I will stay away from this thread

Except that Messi was already invited by Joe Biden to receive the presidential medal of freedom , not some random meaningless chit chat , and he still refused because he doesn't give a shit about these kardashianesque shenanigans.

,, As per Fabrizio Romano ,Messi said: "It’s a great honor to receive this recognition. I’m truly grateful for it. Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment and won’t be able to attend the ceremony at the White House on January 4. But I deeply appreciate this gesture.”

You are right tho , truly different levels.

Yeah, like i said, he doesn't give a fuck, while Chrissie creams his pants at every opportunity to be on front pages of gossip magazines. The difference between simple masculine everyday man and effeminate attention whore with way less to show for on the pitch.

Hard to take this bunch seriously when they bring up "3 major trophies" and being buddies with Trump.

Can you be banned for exposing the rest of the forum to too much brainrot repeatedly?
@Andresito

Just so you see, the rest of the forum wants these goons at least thread banned.

It ain’t just me or the Messi fans.

Quiet, rat.

Temp and I have 2 posts combined in this thread since June while you have over 40 posts in the Ronaldo thread since the start of October.

We know self awareness was never your forte but even you should know better.

Temp is banned from this thread since months/years  But of course you knew this already.

As for you, 100% of your last 1,000 to 2,000 to whatever thousand posts are bait or trolling.

Even your "insults" you parrot OG. Sorry state of affairs to pine for a 30/40 year old Colombian community college hack when you're not busy being the bidet of the other 2 trolls.

Guys enough with off-topic, back to on-topic.

After Alba, now Busi speaks about Lionel:

As his teammate at Barca, at Inter, and as a friend of Leo, we all know what he has meant to Barca, to all the Barca fans.”

He added that Messi’s continued connection to Barcelona is “a source of pride.” And then, for the first time, he revealed his reaction to the visit, “As the president has said, he will always be welcome”.

Alba cant stop speaking about Lionel:

“He wants a tribute, and I hope it happens. He deserves it; it will be a very beautiful celebration. Everyone is waiting for that moment. He is the best in history, and Camp Nou deserves to feel his magic again.”

However, Alba does not think Messi would want the Camp Nou to be named after him. He said:

“I don’t think Leo would want that. Camp Nou is fine. Whatever is done will be positive.”
