The retarded socis will confirm anything the president puts in front of them. Rosell/Bartomeu/Laporta do shit to the club for decades and never did the socios do anything to stop them harming the club, they just vote for whatever the current corrupt president tells them to.

The only issue-specific vote that had to be held (in the last 15 years), as far as I can remember, was the question about the levers. With the stipulation that the levers are there to ensure the club remains 100% member-owned. So no, I don't think the members would agree with the president when it comes to ownership. But all of this is just speculation anyway; the candidates for next year's election will have to convincingly tell the club members that they will protect the current ownership structure. Barca is still a democracy, unlike Real Madrid where Pérez wields all the power and the opposition has no chance.

Laporta wont want it on his watch for a few reasons.. he will want to say it never happened under him and also the moment any outside entity invests billions in Barca they expect more professionalism from the top and not as a friends and family club. It would end there and then.

It has nothing to do with the president, because he hasn't got the power to do anything without the socios approval. And the majority of the socios are older folks who take pride in Barca's-catalan history and their membership model. It's absolutely impossible to convince the current generation selling even one part of the club, no matter what a president might say.
Pretty sure even proposing such a thing would immediately result in a vote of no confidence. How it might look in 20 years, when many current older socios will die of old age and the generation shifts a bit? Who knows, but now it's absolutely impossible.

It does have to do with the President and everyone is fully aware the socios would need to vote it through.
When it becomes about keeping competitive the argument will be seen differently by socios.
